Update from Hart DC on 16 April 2018 regarding a temporary road closure on the central reservation on A287 at the junction with Hook Road.

The central reservation on the A287 at the junction with Hook Road will be closed to allow for works on behalf of South East Water from 1 May 2018 for approximately one month.

Update from South East Water on 28 March 2018 regarding South East Water’s scheme to lay 2 new water pipelines between Greywell and Odiham.

SE Water have now completed vegetation clearance needed before they start work to lay the new pipeline between Greywell and Odiham. Work will start on Tuesday 3 April at the treatment works site in Greywell and there will be a compound set up which will be located in a field adjacent to the Greywell site.The first road crossing is expected to take place on Deptford Lane between 11 May and 22 May.

For the safety of the public and the workforce, a road closure will be in place between these dates. A Deptford Lane diversion route via North Warnborough Street, Hook Road, A287 and Hook Road will be in place. SE Water would like to thank the community in advance for their patience and cooperation and will update as the project progresses.

Update from South East Water on 5 April 2018: South East Water have now started work to set up a compound in a field adjacent to their Greywell Water Treatment Works site. To allow them to connect the new main to their existing network in the future, they need to install new apparatus on Hook Road, North Warnborough. This will take place between the junction of Dunleys Hill and the Basingstoke Canal from 10 April to 12 April. Traffic lights will be in place during this work to keep the public and the workforce safe. You may notice further traffic lights along Hook Road at the junction with Mill Lane between 9 April and 11 April. These traffic lights will be in place for maintainence work on the existing network and are not connected with the work to lay a new pipeline. South East Water thank you for your patience.

Update from South East Water on 16 April 2018: Due to the good progress made so far on our scheme to lay two new pipelines from our Greywell Water Treatment through to Odiham we have been liasing with the local highways team about our road crossing in Deptford Lane. We now plan to do this on Monday 23 April 2018 and a temporary road closure will be in place for your safety and the safety of our workforce. We expect this work to take around 9 days although we will be working hard to finish this sooner. While the road closure is in place, a signed diversion via North Warnborough, The Street, Hook Road, A287 and Hook Road will be in place. We apologise for the short notice of this work but this will mean that we do not need to come back and close Deptford Lane at a later date. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation.

Update from Hart DC on 26 March 2018 regarding a temporary road closure on A30 London Road, Murrell Green, Hook.

The A30 London Road (Murrell Green, Hook) will be closed overnight for telecom works on behalf of Vodafone from Saturday 7 April 2018. A diversion will be in place.

Update from Hart DC on 21 March 2018 regarding a temporary road closure at Bartley Way, Hook.

Bartley Way will be closed to aid traffic management during works on behalf of South East Water from 1 April 2018 for approximately three months. A BARTLEY WAY – Diversion will be in place. Please find a link to the Hart DC order 2018 for Bartley Way, Hook for your information.

Update from Hart DC on 13 March 2018 regarding a temporary road closure at Redlands Lane, Crondall.

Redlands Lane will be closed for highway drainage repair works on behalf of South East Water to install a new water supply from 26 March 2018 for approximately 10 days. A REDLANDS LANE – diversion will be in place.

Update from Hart DC on 7 March 2018 regarding a temporary road closure at Hitches Lane, Fleet.

Hitches Lane will be closed for highway drainage repair works on behalf of SSE Networks from 19 March 2018 for approximately 4 weeks. Update from Hart DC on 26 March 2018 from Hart DC  to advise that due to the recent adverse weather conditions and subsequent backlog of work, this closure has had to be postponed. These works will now take place from Monday 26 March 2018 but the contractor still hopes to complete in the agreed time.

Update from Hart DC on 26 February 2018 regarding temporary closures to M3 slip roads at J4a.

As part of the programme of works being undertaken by Operation Resilience there will be carriageway resurfacing on A327 Minley Road roundabouts, Fleet adjacent to M3 J4a northbound and southbound slip roads.

The proposed works will take place on the north and south roundabouts on A327 Minley Road adjacent to the northbound and southbound M3 slips.

Currently the works are programmed to start on 5 March 2018 and are estimated to take a total of 4 night shifts to complete. Due to the potential affect these works will have on traffic flows and to enhance safety, the resurfacing works will be carried out in the following night phases:

A327 Southern Roundabout / M3 J4a Southbound slips closed 5 March 2018 for 1 night.

A327 Northern Roundabout / M3 J4a Northbound slips closed 6 March 2018 for 3 nights.

A signed diversion for local traffic will be in place during the closures using the A327 Minley Road, A30 London Road,  A331, A325 Farnborough Road and A327.

Froyle lane will be closed for works on behalf of BT Openreach from 26 February 2018 for approximately 3 to 4 days.

Update from Hart DC on 22 January 2018 regarding a temporary road closure on Thackham’s Lane, Hartley Wintney.

Thackham’s Lane will be closed for works on behalf of Southern Gas Networks from 29 January 2018 for approximately 3 to 4 days.

Update from Hart DC on 30 January 2018 regardinf a temporary road closure on Bottle Lane, Mattingley.

 Update from Hart DC on 9 Jan 2018 regarding a temporary road closure on Gordon Avenue, Church Crookham.

As part of the programme of works being undertaken by Operation Resilience, Hampshire CC will shortly begin drainage improvement works in Gordon Avenue, Church Crookham, between Gravel Road / Corringway and Hamilton Road.The works are programmed to start on Monday 22 Jan 2018 and are expected to last for 1 week, during which time the carriage way will be closed to through traffic. Due to the unavoidable disruption that this is likely to cause local traffic, a signed diversion will be in place, which will utilise Corringway, Madeley Road and Hamilton Road. Pedestrian access will be maintained for the duration of the works and residential vehicular access will be permitted to properties where safe to do so.

Update from Hart DC on 8 Jan 2018 regarding a temporary road closure at Pilcot Lane, Crookham Village.

 

Pilcot Lane will be closed for gas main installation works on behalf of Southern Gas Networks from 9 Jan 2018 for approximately 2 months.

UPDATE from South East Water on 16 October 2017

Regarding South East Water’s planned work to lay a new water main along Odiham Road and Upper Hale Road. SE water are currently working to finalise the reinstatement of the local area once the new pipeline has been laid and no decision will be made on this project until all the relevant permissions are in place. As a result, they do not expect to start the first 5-day section of the project on Monday 23 October. Update from South East Water on 14 November 2017 South East Water advise that due to unforeseen circumstances this scheme is now delayed and work is now expected to start on this project in summer 2018 with the project expected to finish approximately at the end of December 2018.

 

 

 

Update from Hampshire Highways 26 September 2017

Operation Resilience – HR603 Connaught Road, Fleet -Drainage Works

The resource allocated to the drainage works in Connaught Road, have been delayed on their current site and will not be able to start on the date previously notified. Due to the impact this will have on the works programme, it is not currently possible to confirm a revised start date for this work, but it is anticipated that this work will be reprogrammed for later in the year.

 

Update 30 August from SE Water

Water main replacement in Alton Road (A31), Farnham.

SE water will be replacing a vulnerable section of old unreliable water main which will take place just west of the entrance with Trout Farm and will continue along the A31 Alton Road. To allow this work to be carried out safely temporary alternating lane closures and a reduced speed limit will be in place. Work is due to start on Tuesday 29 August 2017 and the project is expected to last approximately 11 weeks, finishing early November 2017.

Update 8 August 2017 from SE Water

Odiham Road has been re-opened to traffic six weeks ahead of schedule. SE Water would like to thank local residents, businesses and motorists for their patience while this important project took place. The new pipe is now in operation.
