UPDATE from South East Water on 16 October 2017
Regarding South East Water’s planned work to lay a new water main along Odiham Road and Upper Hale Road. SE water are currently working to finalise the reinstatement of the local area once the new pipeline has been laid and no decision will be made on this project until all the relevant permissions are in place. As a result, they do not expect to start the first 5-day section of the project on Monday 23 October.

Operation Resilience, Church Road, Fleet – Carriageway Resurfacing
As part of Operation Resilience, Hampshire County Council’s programme to make Hampshire’s roads more resilient to the effects of extreme weather, carriageway resurfacing works on Church Road from the Junction with Elvetham Road to the Junction with Lismoyne Close.
The works are programmed to start Thursday 21st September with minor kerbing, footway and drainage repairs, followed by 3 shifts of carriageway resurfacing works, during which time the road will be closed to vehicular traffic.
The carriageway resurfacing works will be split into two phases;
The road will be closed to vehicular traffic between the north side Gough Road and a point just south of the southern entrance to The Lismoyne Hotel from approximately 09:30 – 16:00 on Wednesday 27th & Thursday 28th. A signed diversion will be in place which will utilize Elvetham Road, Reading Road North and Fleet Road. During this closure access to the Hospital and Medical Centre will always be available.
To complete the works outside the Hospital and Medical Centre, the northern section of the road, between Gough Road and Elvetham Road will be closed for a further night shift between 20:00 and 06:00 on Friday 29th September. During the closure vehicular access will be restricted to properties within the closed section, but will be available for all properties outside the closure limits. Pedestrian access will be available at all times.
Update from Hampshire Highways 26 September 2017
Operation Resilience – HR603 Connaught Road, Fleet -Drainage Works
The resource allocated to the drainage works in Connaught Road, have been delayed on their current site and will not be able to start on the date previously notified. Due to the impact this will have on the works programme, it is not currently possible to confirm a revised start date for this work, but it is anticipated that this work will be reprogrammed for later in the year.
Update from Hampshire County Highways 5 September 2017
As part of the programme of works being undertaken by Operation Resilience they will be undertaking carriageway resurfacing on A327 Minley Road roundabouts, Fleet adjacent to M3 J4a northbound and southbound slip roads.
Currently the work is programmed for September 2017 and is estimated to take 6 night shifts to complete. Due to the nature of the work and for safety reasons, it is necessary to close A327 Minley Road roundabouts to traffic. Therefore, to help minimise disruption, these works will be carried out at night between 20.00 to 06.00 hours.
Update 30 August from SE Water
Water main replacement in Alton Road (A31), Farnham.
SE water will be replacing a vulnerable section of old unreliable water main which will take place just west of the entrance with Trout Farm and will continue along the A31 Alton Road. To allow this work to be carried out safely temporary alternating lane closures and a reduced speed limit will be in place. Work is due to start on Tuesday 29 August 2017 and the project is expected to last approximately 11 weeks, finishing early November 2017.
Update 8 August 2017 from SE Water
Odiham Road has been re-opened to traffic six weeks ahead of schedule. SE Water would like to thank local residents, businesses and motorists for their patience while this important project took place. The new pipe is now in operation.
