Odiham Parish Council serves the villages of Odiham and North Warnborough where you will find a beautiful Georgian High Street, a historic Church, a cemetery, 3 schools, the Basingstoke Canal and a number of Conservation Areas. There are approximately 2100 houses within the parish including houses on the RAF base. To ensure equal representation for residents, the Council has been split into wards. The Odiham ward has 6 Councillors, North Warnborough 3 Councillors and the RAF ward 1 Councillor. All Councillors can participate fully in all activities of the Parish Council. Parish Councillors are elected every four years, with the last elections taking place in May 2015. The role is a voluntary one.

On behalf of its residents, the Council owns and manages 4 play areas in Chamberlain Gardens, Bufton Fields, Chapel Pond Drive and the Recreation Ground. The Council also owns and manages King Street Cemetery; King Street public conveniences; the Parish room where its meetings take place and the tennis courts and bowling green which are run by the local clubs.

Grants are made twice a year in January and July to assist local community groups and charities who serve our residents.

The Council is a statutory consultee for all planning applications received by Hart District Council. The planning committee support the interests of all residents when responding to Hart DC.

Odiham Parish Council employ four part-time members of staff; Executive Officer, Admin Officer and an Administrator to ensure that the Council is operating in accordance with the latest legislation and strive for best practice and a caretaker for the Parish room.
