BBC Children In Need Rickshaw Challenge is coming to Hook.  It is anticipated that the rickshaw will arrive between 6pm – 7pm, however, it could be later if the riders encounter inclement weather or experience a breakdown

Attached is the poster and this is the link to the press release on our website http://hook.gov.uk/bbc-children-in-need-rickshaw-challenge-2018-is-coming-to-hook/.

The route they are planning on taking is:

Coming up through Upper Hale and along the A287. They will not be going through Odiham but rather they will be taking the bypass road passed Newlands Farm/Lodge Farm. They will then cross the M3 Jn5 motorway roundabout and then take the B3349, Griffin Way South. At the roundabout they will take the first exit on to Station Road past Tesco’s until the next roundabout where they will take the 4th exit on to the A30, London Road. Taking the 3rd exit back on to the B3349 Griffin Way South, the rickshaw will turn right into Ravenscroft and follow this road into Hook Junior School
