Finance Committee

At the meeting on 8 May 2017 it was resolved to dissolve the finance committee. All future financial matters will be dealt with by the full council.

The Finance committee was set up in 2015 to monitor all of the Council’s income and expenditure. It will make recommendations on the annual budget and parish precept to the full Council for agreement. The committee will also monitor the internal and external auditing of the Council and all insurance matters.

The committee has no decision making powers but makes recommendations to the full Council for agreement.

The external auditor has advised that there were no matters that came to their attention which required the issuing of a separate additional issues arising report for our year ended 31 March 2016.  The Conclusion of audit has been displayed in our notice boards.

The unaudited but approved and signed annual return 2016 can now be viewed, but may be subject to change. Supporting documents include the variations, box 7/8 reconciliation and the bank reconciliation.
