Consumer Council for Water (CCWater) would like to introduce you to the work we do, and let you know how we might be able to help you and those living in your local area.
CCWater is the independent, statutory body for all water consumers (household and business) in England and Wales. We promote consumers’ interests within the industry and work to resolve any complaints they may have about their local water and sewerage service.
CCWater is a non-departmental public body independent from the economic regulator, Ofwat, and the water companies. We are not funded by the taxpayer but receive 21p a year from each water bill payer.
If anyone has a complaint about their water supply or sewerage service, which their water company has failed to resolve satisfactorily, they can call CCWater on 0300 034 2222 [0300 034 3333 for Wales], email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit our website at www.ccwater.org.uk.
Alternatively, they can write to us at: The Consumer Council for Water, 1st Floor, Victoria Square House, Victoria Square, Birmingham, B2 4AJ.
Since our creation in 2005 we have helped more than 380,000 consumers in England and Wales with complaints or enquiries about their water and sewerage services. We have secured more than £27 million in compensation and rebates for consumers.
Your regional CCWater chair is Sir Tony Redmond.
