Consumer Council for Water (CCWater) would like to introduce you to the work we do, and let you know how we might be able to help you and those living in your local area.

CCWater is the independent, statutory body for all water consumers (household and business) in England and Wales. We promote consumers’ interests within the industry and work to resolve any complaints they may have about their local water and sewerage service.

CCWater is a non-departmental public body independent from the economic regulator, Ofwat, and the water companies. We are not funded by the taxpayer but receive 21p a year from each water bill payer.

Since our creation in 2005 we have helped more than 380,000 consumers in England and Wales with complaints or enquiries about their water and sewerage services. We have secured more than £27 million in compensation and rebates for consumers.
